History of Bayside Health
Vincent Killeen, MD, came to the Lewes area from Washington DC upon completion of his residency at Georgetown University Hospital. He joined an association in Lewes and began seeing patients and delivering babies at Beebe Medical Center. In early 1988, he discovered that the association was going to dissolve on June 30th. So Dr. Killeen, in conjunction with another physician, developed the idea of Bayside Health Association. On May 1, 1988, Bayside Health Association saw its first patient at 701 Savannah Road in Lewes.

Bayside Health Lewes Office
Located on Savannah Road just a half-mile from Route 1 and less than three miles from Beebe Medical Center, our Lewes office offers the broadest spectrum of services including Audiology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ultrasound and Bone Density or DEXA scanning. In addition, our Lewes office offers expanded hours with providers available Monday and Wednesday 8:30 am to 7:30 pm, Tuesday and Thursday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and Friday 8:30 am to 2:00 pm. For non-emergent after-hours issues such as test results and prescription refills, our office is equipped 24-hours a day with a voice mail system on which you may leave a message for our staff to return your call. For other after-hours needs, patients can contact our answering service at 856-0765 and they will assist you in contacting the on-call physician.
Bayside Health Georgetown Office
Located on Route 113, close to town, the Georgetown office offers Obstetrics and Gynecology services. In addition, a full-time ultrasonographer performs obstetrical and gynecological ultrasounds on site. Our friendly staff is here to assist you Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Thursday from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm and Friday 8:30 am to 2:00 pm.
